Event Planning Services
offered by Danielle A. Lavetan, MSW, CMP
I am a seasoned, professionally certified event planner with over 16 years of experience in diverse event structures, models, venues and audiences. I excel at leading and building high performing teams and have a reputation for being a reliable collaborator and project driver dedicated to achieving organizational goals and results.
I have built events from the ground up and have taken seasoned events to new heights. I love putting the puzzle pieces together to create a magical and memorable experience for guests.
In addition to my work, I’m enjoying life as a relocated Yankee living in Raleigh, North Carolina, with my husband, three children and two fur-babies.
For over 16 years, I've excelled at developing new and elevating seasoned fundraising events for charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society and the V Foundation for Cancer Research. My diverse portfolio includes elegant galas, grassroots fundraising efforts (such as 5K walks), large organizational anniversary celebrations, executive fundraising competitions, and more - with revenue achievements ranging from $150,000 to $2.8 million. Most recently, I have been focusing on corporate events, including grand openings, award dinners, experiential marketing events, and professional development conferences. Whether it’s a large-scale black-tie gala or an intimate donor dinner, I bring the same level of energy, precision, and care to every event.
My areas of specialty are philanthropic events with influential donors and projects with quick turnaround times. I attribute my track record of successful events to my ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholder cohorts, including executive steering committees, event committees, leadership advisory boards, boards of directors, and executive leadership staff.
In addition to my professional experience, I served on the York Jewish Community Center’s executive board committee for four years, before being elected as the board president. I was honored to carry on a family legacy as the third person in my family to serve on the board in a leadership capacity, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s 100-year history.
