Event planning services offered by Danielle A. Lavetan, MSW, CMP
I am a seasoned, professionally certified event planner with over 16 years of experience in diverse event structures, models, venues and audiences. I excel at leading and building high performing teams and have a reputation for being a reliable collaborator and project driver dedicated to achieving organizational goals and results.
I have built events from the ground up and have taken seasoned events to new heights. I love putting the puzzle pieces together to create a magical and memorable experience for guests.
In addition to my work, I’m enjoying life as a relocated Yankee living in Raleigh, North Carolina, with my husband, three children and two fur-babies.
For 16+ years, I've exceled in building and growing galas and social events for charitable organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the V Foundation for Cancer Research. My diverse event portfolio includes grassroots fundraising efforts such as 5k walks, cycling events and executive fundraising competitions. I have experience in planning events ranging from large organizational anniversary celebrations to small intimate cocktail receptions and group dinners. My specialty areas are events with elite clientele ranging in revenue achievements from $150k-$2.8 million per event. I attribute success to my efforts in developing volunteer leadership groups such as executive steering committees, event committees, ambassador models and leadership advisory boards and to my abilities to build trusting relationships with internal key stakeholders.
Along with my philanthropic experience, I’ve worked in the tradeshow industry as a vendor and I have supported political fundraisers, community festivals and parades.
In addition to my professional experiences, I served on the executive board committee for four years before becoming the Board President of the York Jewish Community Center; an ongoing family legacy I was honored to carry as the third person in my family to serve the board in a leadership capacity in the organization’s 100-year history.
